All 4 Sticker Sets Complete!

 And thus another story arc comes to a close. When I went to Thailand back in October, I took it upon myself to use that little vacation to open the laptop and start vectorizing. First came Ooh Bunny stickers, which I'm quite impressed with considering I hadn't been releasing much content for a time.. work and all.. hence the vacation.

When I got back, Panda came next. Then Ciel and now finally, after 3 rejections, Eve Bear. Yeah, they kept rejecting it because the bot that scans the images kept citing "Mornin" as an informal contraction, which I guess they consider a spelling mistake despite me using that word successfully in the previous sticker sets. Rather than fight with it, I just changed it to 'Morning.

And so all 4 are now available for sale on the sticker store. Here's a direct link to the final collection:

Eve Bear

Hi friends, next I'll be showing off a little bit of the next sticker set of Hug Club for LINE sticker store. The last character I'm working on is Eve Bear. This set is proving to be a little more difficult than the previous ones because she is a much simpler design than the others. I have to scrutinize a whole lot more and be careful not to push a design that's too generic or too similar to the previous set of stickers (not make a simple re-skin of my other character stickers).

Here I have two candidates (previously 8, all deleted) for simply a "Sleep or Sleepy" sticker. Hard to say if I'll use either of them, more attempts to follow.

The stickers that did pass are these. I need 6 more to complete the set. I'd certainly like a Good Bye, Good Night, Question, OMG, a simple Hi, maybe one more flirty sticker.

Once these are complete, I'll send them for review and have them published to the store. On a side note, you might have noticed I've become a little more active. Well, I have found time, finally. I've neglected this project for far too long. I'll see about pushing more projects.

LINE Stickers Continued

Welcome back and here's the next series of stickers! So far I have Ooh Bunny and Tony Panda, available now on the LINE Sticker Store. My Ciel Katt stickers have just been added, so hope you like them.

Here's a little peek into how I make these:

I start with my base model which is the basic lines and two floating objects, the bow and the bell. I simply copy over this template to various frames and mold it like clay into any pose and expression I can think of. Words and shapes are added after.

There are times where I make some that never get used. Sometimes they just don't have any real purpose or look too similar to ones I previously made. Here's one of Katt singing, which almost got scrapped, but I thought just a silly and happy looking sticker probably doesn't need any other purpose except to be cute, so I kept it 😏

Up next are Eve Bear stickers. I've yet to get them started, so stay tuned!

LINE Stickers!!!

Hello friends, Panda here! Let's see what's cooking!

Firstly, work's been a wild ride, so I took a trip abroad. While I was out, I decided to break out the laptop and actually concentrate on my drawings. They seemed a bit antiquated. I'd been using the same style for so long, kinda just recycling it because it was easier, but now I think it's time to break out of that habit.

To come up with all these different expressions wasn't easy. I'm one of those people who gets a terrible case of artist's block for years on end. There's tons of creators out there who just pick up a pen and doodle away with ease, I envy them so much ToT

So how do I draw? What is my technique? I'll tell ya one thing, I do NOT freehand my drawings, never, I can't do it lol. Behold, the amazing bendy line tool from Adobe Animate, a tool that does not exist in any art program, period, except for Animate (formerly Flash).

The line tool is a lot like clay, which is a weird analogy for me to make because I don't sculpt, but I'd imagine it's quite the same. Draw, bend and manipulate. That's all there is to it. Think coloring book.

She's coming along real nice. I also work in layers. I can skip a lot of detail by just not drawing the stuff under objects, heck, look what's behind her bow.

Now that I have sped up my process of production, I think I'll finally be able to get some real work done here very soon.

I decided to change the mouth. I thought maybe it would be her blowing against steaming ramen, but I wasn't satisfied, so I'll play it cool and give her a familiar smile x)

SHOP UPDATE 2025 - ETSY

 Greetings all, this is a past midnight post after working on a few tidbits here and there... to the point:

I have decided to finally go with Etsy for hosting my shop items. Paypal, Stripe etc etc.. no longer support the shopping cart feature, which means you cannot combine shipping. Etsy will allow you to create a shopping cart and combine shipping.

I'm glad I went with this, I will no longer worry about fans having to create separate purchases and having to report individual shipping per item just to clear my funds on paypal. *wipes sweat away*
